The Rev. Dianne O'Connell rings gong and Elder Smoke rings bells for a total of 350 chimes to signify the goal of cleaning up our air so that it does nto exceed 350 parts per million of carbon dioxide.

Children of Immanuel help plant a tree after the service to represent our commitment to care for the earth and work towards its healing.

October 23, 2009 - Climate protection is the point - an atmospheric level of carbon dioxide of 350 parts per million is the target - as millions of people around the world participate on October 24 in what organizers are calling the most widespread day of environmental action in history.
