Immanuel decided to have a picnic for Labor Day. They invited the Samoan Assembly of God congregation which meets in the sanctuary from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Sundays, as well as Nunaka Valley neighbors, Nunaka Valley School staff, and members of the Yukon Presbytery staff. The day was a total success -- in no small part due to the music and dance of the Samoan folks -- and the food and games engaged in by all.
